This page is designed to assist with navigating the appointment portal: walking you through setting up and using your pet portal account. We hope that this page can answer any questions or concerns you have, but we are always available during office hours to assist you in person. 636-220-4155

PLEASE NOTE: In the DETAILS section of your portal account, you will need to check the box next to your email address, in the REMINDERS column, to make sure you receive any confirmation emails. (see image below).

How to set up your pet portal

The following text and images are a step by step guide to setting up your personal portal account for St. Louis Veterinary Radiology Associates. This page is designed to walk you through the process , answering frequently asked questions and trouble shooting. If you are having issues with your portal or making an appointment, and this page is not helping, please contact us directly 314-323-9059.

B) Setting up your portal account.

1) Click the black “MAKE APPOINTMENT” button at the bottom of the home page.

2) This will take you to the portal login page.  Scroll to the bottom to see the blue button “ YOUR FIRST TIME LOGGING IN? SIGN UP HERE!”

3) Click on the blue “ YOUR FIRST TIME LOGGING IN? SIGN UP HERE!” Button.

A new window will open.

4) Fill in the requested contact information.

Please note the phone number should be entered without dashed or parentheses.
 
Click the large blue “NEXT” Button.

5) Fill in requested address information.

6) Click the check box denoting “I’m not a robot”.

7) Click the large blue “SIGN UP” button.

A new window will open – this is your Portal Home page.

Your Portal home page allows you virtual access to your account, including: Booking appointments, your contact information, your pet’s information, diagnostic test results, and financial history.
Your portal will allow you to update your contact or pet’s information at your convenience.
You can make or cancel appointments for your pet at your convenience, regardless of the time of day.
View and retrieve diagnostic results, incase you should need them when our office is closed.
View and retrieve financial history at your convenience, which might be needed for veterinary insurance compensation.

C) Adding your pet patient.

On your patient Portal Home page – select the “ Add new patient” on the right hand side of the middle blue box. As pictured below.

A new window will open, requesting information about your pet.

1) Fill out your pets information.

Many of these fields have large drop down lists – as you start typing, the list will narrow.(Fields with lists to assist you: Species, Breed, Referring vet clinic, sex, altered)

2) Click the blue “SAVE CHANGES” button.

Your pet’s information should appear under the blue heading “Animals”
If you need to edit your pets information – click on the blue circle with the white pencil at the right hand end of your pets information box.

D) Booking an appointment.

On your patient Portal Home …

You can book an appointment for your pet by:
1) Selecting the “Book Appointment” button on the left hand column

or
2) Clicking the blue “ Book new appointment” header on the right hand side of your screen.

A new window will appear asking if your patient needs an emergency exam. Defined as an exam needing to be performed same day as appointment is made or the following day if the office is currently closed.
If this is the case, by clicking the red button - the portal will direct you to contact us via phone during business hours.
 
Clicking the blue “CHOOSE FROM CALENDAR” button with take you to a short question tree that will assist you in making the right appointment for your pet.

1) The first question will confirm, that this is not an emergency.

Select  “No” to make an appointment. (selecting “Yes” will guide you to contact us via phone during business hours)

1) Please select the type of exam your pet is being referred for.

By clicking on an exam -a brief description will be shown.
 You can click and open multiple exam descriptions at once.

If it is still unclear which exam your pet needs – you can select  “I don’t know” option.

4) Once you have selected your exam…

5) You will be asked to select your doctor.

 If you have a day of the week preference, the days of the week that each doctor is available is shown in the description – the description is shown by clicking on the doctor.
            As in the exam description, multiple doctor’s schedules can be visualized at the same time, prior to selecting your choice.
 

*If at any point you feel you need to go back and select a different option – please note the portal may return you to the beginning of the question tree.*

6) Once you have selected your doctor, their schedule/availability will be exhibited in a calendar form. You can click the desired appointment time, or the green “ BOOK FIRST AVAILABLE” button at the top left of the calendar.

7) Once you have selected your time and date, a new window will open on top of the calendar.

8) Select which pet this exam is for.

9) Please enter a short description of why your pet is being referred for the exam.
10) Before submitting – review that the type of exam, date and time of exam are correct.

11) Click the  “Submit” button in the right hand corner.

Your appointment will be listed on your portal home page, in the top blue box labeled “Upcoming Appointments”
This will initially exhibit the pink “unconfirmed “ status on the left side.

Once we have received and reviewed your request, we will confirm your appointment – changing the status to a green “Confirmed”.
You should also receive a confirmation email, to the email you used to create your portal.

Your appointment has now been made and confirmed. We look forward to assisting you and your pet.

You can also download your appointment to your calendar by selecting the blue circle calendar icon on the right of the appointment line.

E) How to cancel an appointment.

1) Select the “trash can” icon at the right side of the appointment line.

You may include a reason for canceling if desired, but it is not required.
Click the green “confirm” button – to confirm you want to cancel your appointment.

The appointment will be removed from your portal home screen confirming it has been canceled.
