Dr. Brochtrup received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Dr. Brochtrup practiced equine ambulatory, general small animal, and emergency medicine in the St. Louis area for 5 years, prior to completing a radiology residency in 2012, at Kansas State University, in Manhattan Kansas. Dr. Brochtrup was board certified in Veterinary Radiology the same year, 2012. Dr. Brochtrup enjoys areas of radiology including CT, MRI, Ultrasound and radiographs, but has a special interest in contrast radiography. Dr. Brochtrup has worked both for VIS-mobile, and VSS specialty hospital as an employee and private consult, as well as her own company, Ghost Pipes Imaging, LLC, named for a unique forest flower. Dr. Brumitt received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and completed a 1-year internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery the following year. Dr. Brumitt was in private practice for 2 years before accepting a Residency position in Diagnostic Imaging at Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his Residency and Master of Science degree in May, 2009 and was board certified in Veterinary Radiology in 2010. Dr. Brumitt has a special interest in cross sectional imaging procedures such as CT and MRI. He joined Veterinary Imaging Specialists (VIS) in 2009 and formed VIS - Mobile in 2012. He is a member of the AVMA, ACVR, MVMA, and GSLVMA.

What is a Board Certified Radiologist?
An American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) board certified Radiologist (ACVR Diplomate) is a veterinarian who has received advanced training in diagnostic imaging and has passed the ACVR Board Certification Examination.
